Coat of arms

Shield Argent, a wedge Gules flanked in base by two flax blossoms Azure seeded Or, in central chief a palm leaf Vert and a sword Gules crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "CUNHA - PAREDES DE COURA".
The wedge (Port.: cunha) is a canting element.

Cunha Commune is one of the 16 communes of the Paredes de Coura municipality (q.v.); it had 529 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 11.8 km².
