|Remark:||The situation in Unzmarkt-Frauenburg is not clear to me.
The municipality has confirmed to me in two e-mails (13 May and 20 May 2014)
that since their merger in 1968 they are using both coats-of-arms side by
side. They even claim that they are using them in their seal.
On the other hand, this is not acceptable to the Styrian State Archives that are very strict regarding municipal heraldry. In a letter dated 25 March 2014, Dr. Gernot Obersteiner, the chief heraldist of Styria, commented on the Unzmarkt-Frauenburg case:
"Unzmarkt-Frauenburg is the only Styrian municipality (beside Stainz) using quasi an alliance arms; most surely in this case a unification of the coats-of-arms or a new grant is necessary" (my translation).
